Pisa is a small city without many noteworthy sights. Of course there is the leaning tower and the buildings that surround it but there isn't much else. It's a perfect day trip from Florence. Even though I've seen the leaning tower countless times there is nothing like seeing it in real life. I came around the corner and bam, there it was. It's puzzling how it can stay upright. You think it will topple over at any moment. It took a lot of will power but I avoided the tacky photo pose of a me 'pushing' the tower.
