Hoje fomos visitar a segunda Maravilha do Mundo, durante esta viagem. Depois de Incas (Machu Picchu) e Astecas (Teotihuacan) decidimos visitar os Mayas, em Chichen Itza. Trata-se de um local arqueológico composto pelos edifícios que restam de uma cidade (pré-hispânica) Maya. De todos os edíficios, a pirâmide (ou templo) de Kukulcan é o mais simbólico. Chichen Itza é Património da Humanidade desde 1988.

Today we visited the second Wonder, during this trip. After the Incas (Machu Picchu) and the Asteks (Teotihuacan) we decided to visit the Mayas, in Chichen Itza. It's an archeological site with several remaining buildings from a (pre-hispanic) Maya city. Among all buildings, the Kukulcan pyramid (or temple) is the most symbolic one. Chichen Itza is UNESCO World Heritage site since 1988.
