O plano para hoje era de visitar o Parque Nacional Torres del Paine, "um dos mais belos lugares do mundo". Este parque fica praticamente colado ao parque "Los Glaciares" que visitámos na Argentina. A viagem de Puerto Natales até ao Lago Grey, onde iriamos pernoitar, demora algumas horitas mas as diversas paragens que fizémos permitiram-nos ter uma ideia muito boa do parque. Para além de glaciares, vida selvagem e espectaculares céus, este parque está inserido numa das regiões com maior potencial de energia eólica do mundo. Os ventos são uma constante de dia e de noite! É incrivel, está sempre vento forte!
The plan for today was to visit the Torres del Paine National Park, "one of the most beautiful places in the world". This park is quite close to the "Los Glaciares" National Park that we visited in Argentina. The trip from Puerto Natales to Lake Grey, where we would stay for the night, takes a few hours, but the several stops we made allowed us to have a pretty good idea of the park. Besides the glaciers, wild life and amazing skies, this park is in a region with one of the biggest potencial for wind energy in the world. The winds are constantly blowing, day and night! It's incredible, you always have strong winds around here!
