We actually managed to make it to Villa Sevilla. It's a miracle considering the language barrier, the crazy drivers, the narrow streets, etc. After arriving this afternoon at the airport, we sat for a while waiting on our ride to rent our car. Thankfully, someone else was looking for the same car rental place, and they spoke Spanish. Otherwise, we might still be there. San Juan seemed very busy; I think we could live here. I definitely could drive here (Nathan). There seem to be no traffic laws. Drive on the shoulder; butt out into traffic; run every red light; walk in the middle of the street. Yes, I think I could handle this! After you get off the main highways, the streets become very narrow. Of course, this doesn't stop anyone from driving nuts, but at times, you only have room for one car on the road. Our host said he's learned to play chicken with the other drivers; otherwise, they'll force you off the road. He's missing a couple of mirrors to prove it! Villa Sevilla is a great place. It's next to the rain forest, so I guess we're going to get used to hearing the frogs and birds all day/night. I'm not sure what we have planned for tomorrow yet, but I think we're going to visit a swimming area nearby, possibly hike through the rain forest, and eat something besides fast food!

Hey Whitney and Nate ,
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Wish i could have been there sorry i was working in JacksonMS anyway saw some pictures from moms you all look beautiful , anyway one of my coworkers (Jorge) is from PR , i told him yall were honeymooning there and if he knew any cool stuff yall could do so im pasting here suggestions :
Ok. You can go to Salinas, south part of the island, they got the best sea food restaurants in the area. Also, in the south you have Ponce, the biggest town in P.R.. In downtown, everything had the old spanish construction. Also you can go to Lajas "LA PARGUERA" known as the glowing bay. To see the best ot this you need to go after six in the afternoon. They have a boat with a glass in the bottom to show you the glowing. There's some little animals in the area, when they feel trouble is close, they start to glow, you can look for this on the internet. Also on that area they have beatiful beaches. On the north west, is Isabela, the capital of surf in PR. Also, there's the Yunque, the only tropical rain forrest in the caribbean that's on the middle east and in the north "Las cuevas de Camuy" or Camuy Caverns. This ones are amazing. If you need more information, you can e mail me. Thanks and have a great honey moon in Puerto Rico, "La Isla del Encanto" , The Island of the Charming
enjoy,
best wishes,
Ray
