Altho i popped out for some shopping, i ended up spening most of Saturday working on a variety of things.
However, the tedium of that was broken by the sound of whistles, drumming, chanting and cheers getting closer and closer outside on the street.
I guess they were raising funds for some community association, or a project, or their college .....
I peered out off the balncony, and saw this troupe of (students?) dancing/and drumming for music from house to house, and business to business, up the road, and then asking for money in their collecting bowls. I should have gone downstairs to really see better - incl the HUGE guy on stilts ..... fun .....

i popped up the road to a pizza place on the top corner for a bite of supper.

a quiet day - laregly enforced by the fact that I obviously picked up a bug from the pizza bar.... i have eaten there before and its been ok, so dunno ....
anyway - bad night, sweats, felt more like a virus than food poisonning, but can't think how. anyway. slow day .... satyed in bed a lot and drank lots and lots of water, and listened to the world service .... which i listen to a lot here.
early bed, long long sleep .... woke up groggy monday morning but good enough to go to the office so dragged myself in.
