Today the boys had most of the day to themselves, getting used to the heat and exploring Kata Beach. A requirement of the day was to complete a landuse map of the region and until it was completed and handed in, the students would not get the next food allowance. Only one went hungry tonight. An added incentive is the best maps get prize money.
The boys got very frustrated with the rip off tuk tuk drivers. The No1 tourist problem in Phuket.
A lot of boys also went to Buphen the tailor to select fabrics and get measured up for a suit.
We had an evening meeting at 6pm and took Tuk Tuks to Mr Kwongs Seafood Resturant, a local favourite, cheap with great food. After dinner it was miniputt at Dino park. We should now all
be rested for the big days ahead. An early start tomorrow 8.30am.

Hey Jack - hope you chose your suit fabric well. Just a little worried you may have tried to find something in 'aquamarine' to match your (Llama) Hipster crocodile skin shoes. We are so envious of the warm weather you are enjoying and being in a resort. Auckland is cold and wet. We went go-carting yesterday to try and cheer ourselves up. Greta blitzed the field scarily. Don't think she will be borrowing my car so often after seeing her drive. I hope you weren't the kid that missed dinner Jack although I see this as an excellent strategy Hugh for increasing output. Will be looking to employ it back here in the future. Keep on having fun. Jane
