We were both up reasonably early considering the massive journey we had both endured the day before. We stayed in bed for a bit, eating chewy sweets as we had no chocolate coins!

We went and found some breakfast before heading down to the beach. On the way we had stopped off in an Irish pub to reserve a table for the evening because we had heard that it did the best xmas dinner in town (we later found out that the rest of the town couldn't have been trying very hard)! We then headed down to the beach. We walked down to the furthest point away from town because it was quieter. After relaxing on the beach for a bit, we both saw someone that neither of us believed existed....Father Christmas himself was on the beach handing out presents!

We left the beach with neither of us feeling Christmassy, so we headed back to the room and put some Christmas songs on. Kate then skyped her family and we both got ready to go out for our Christmas dinner.

It was a very average dinner but it would've been strange not to have one. Sat next to us were two retired ladies, one from America and the other from Canada. They talked to us for a while until their dinners came out, which they loved. The Canadian asked what was wrapped in the bacon - pigs in blankets. When ours arrived we instantly noticed that we were missing the Yorkshire puddings, we asked for them and got them a few minutes later. The two ladies next to us were also missing theirs and were intrigued by what they were, asking if you had it for dessert after the dinner! They eventually got their puddings - the American having hers on a separate plate because she had finished her dinner already, so it was kind of a dessert for her!

The next day we left the town of Krabi and headed to an island called Koh Lanta.
