We headed to Whitesands Beach via the hospital (it was so posh that we thought it was a hotel)! After inconclusive tests, the doctor gave Kate yet more drugs, all for extortionate prices! Which she dutifully took all week, the only side effect being severe burns (which have now turned to blisters) on her toes. Which meant she had to stay out of the sun for the whole week and fill a bag several times a day/night with cold water to make her very own foot bath!

We moved from £14 a night beach huts to £8 a night (Tantawan Bungalows), which was fine (and we were on the sand) although that did get annoying as we always had a sandy floor and bed! We spent eight nights at Whitesands; chilled on the beach all day and our biggest decision each evening was deciding which beach BBQ to eat at.
 
As our month visa was running out, it was with regret that we decided to leave Koh Chang after three weeks. It had been such a contrast to crazy India.  We decided our next destination would be Bangkok for Shane's birthday.
