I have not really had any trouble with jet lag...at all. But I think the daylight is messing with me. It is light at 6am and gets dark at 6pm. So by 8pm I'm convinced that it is 11. I've been going to sleep TOO early. Thursday I was up before 6am. Friday morning I woke at 3:15am. Not good. Although I did finally finish a book I had started BEFORE I left the US.
Worked in the coffee shop most of the morning. It is a really nice coffee shop. Then had lunch at The Mad Monkey before heading to the office.
Finally, got to the pool after work this afternoon. Even though it is cooler in the afternoon, it was still nice. 24 hours of travel is not easy on the body. My feet have pretty much been swollen since I got here. Nata Spa is 2 blocks from Cynthia's so we decided to check it out and see if it would help my feet. I will be back! Had a great 60 minute "foot" massage. We will be back next week for the full body massage + body scrub for $45.
No evening is complete without a visit to Le Sauvignon Wine Bar. Tonight we had the Spicy Chicken, Pumpkin Tart, and Goat Cheese with Walnut Spread. The staff is very friendly and the service is great.
So, tipping is the conversation of the day. In the US, we tip; mostly, because service staff aren't paid a great wage and so, I believe, we feel a need to make it up to them. I'm not sure what staff are paid here but tipping is not usual. Most of the time when I leave a tip, Cynthia looks at me like I'm crazy. When I spend $18 and give them a $20...why wouldn't I just leave the change...that's not even a decent tip in the US.
So I brought a couple of power converters with me...you know, that 220 versus 110 problem. Plug it in, plug in my straight iron, turn it on...oops, what was that noise and what's that smell. Guess the straight iron is dead. So, how do you even know if your power converter is still any good until you plug something in. Dear Square One, I will be needing a new straight iron, please.
I'll leave you with that thought for the evening...I have been up since 3:15am. And the car will be here at 7am to take us to Siem Reap / Angor Wat.

Fantastic to hear of your travels. Cambodia (Siem Reap) was by far my favorite spot in Asia. Realy wish I could have spent more than 2 days there. Be sure to have a foot massage for me. I sorely miss them. If you need a tour guide let me know. I gotta guy.
