Many of our Auzzie friends have told us about Springbrook and how beautiful it is so we thought we'd best just head up that way and see for ourselves. It was a nice little drive from home (under an hour) that took us up the winding roads of the mountainside.

On the way up we stopped at The Boomerang Farm Golf Course as some of our friends told us about this little hide-a-way spot with a wonderful beaten-up building that they use for a pro shop and lunch spot. It was a classic! We're going to try to get back there for a round of golf, but will be sure to not wear a singlet or thongs or carry a six-pack of Four X (XXXX) as they were pretty clear on their dress code sign.

So up we went and had a wonderful trek through the rain forest and out to several points of interest. Some we walked to and others we drove to. They were all wonderful!

Purlingbrook Falls was probably the favourite spot as we saw it from all possible angles - from the distance (across the gorge), from over top, from the base, from behind, and from beneath. It was pretty awesome! A couple hours of trekking to have lunch at such a lovely spot was well worth it!

We also saw Goomoolahra Falls, Rainbow Falls, and Twin Falls. We went to the Canyon Lookout, the Best of All Lookout, and Hardy's Lookout too. We drove up and down and around and around through some really pretty roadways with trees cuddling over and around us our whole way along. The Natural Bridge was our last stop. It was also pretty neat as we got to go right under the 'natural bridge' as well as see it from the top point.

A really nice day trip up to Springbrook. Wish you were here to see it for yourself!
