this village is feeling the economic Downturn. not so many visitors, and many gullets (boats) just sitting waiting for custom. Dinner downtown last two evenings.. chicken Caesar salad first night in a cafe. Yum. Last night tried one of the restaurants for fish & bottle of wine. served mezes & bread with our wine...... Lost our fish order, so almost finished wine, but beautiful fish and a free desert of apple pancake and ice-cream. waiters just lovely, and all this village is so friendly.
Bought a few trinkets here..... Not too much to carry.
We plan to have a swim today, but later, and a BBQ dinner here. first day with no walking.
mmmm....the swim didn't happen as we had a sleep instead....manyana......

Wow.....this is so great to read your experiences along the way. Brings back memories of 22 years ago and the amazing places in Turkey. Have been to all but one of the towns you have written about and has made me look at the maps on here and recall where I have been. Sounds like you will be back?? As I notice it is your 1st European Tour. X

I have found lots of beautiful necklaces..... and lots of ideas of different ideas.... and thought you might be interested.... maybe in designing and making?? These ones have used silk as the necklace with beads, and beautiful glass or silver centepiece..
