My last weekend in Spain I was invited to visit the coast to the north of
Barcelona called la costa brava. The pictures were taken in some of the medieval villages of Catalunya's Empurda region as well as along the coastal walkway at San Pol. Amazing scenery, beautiful houses, huge waves, wind swept landscapes and crooked trees arching over the footpaths that lead from one incredible view to the next. It is a place I could have easily spent months just watching the tide come in, crash over the jagged rocks and recede back to sea.
