Where I stayed
Some dodgy, dodgy place
DOMINIQUE HERE:
Day : Apparently it should be 365, but my last blog was only 342 so it appears my numbers are all out!!! I will need to look through the entire blog and correct them….doh!!!
Temperature : 30 degrees
Weather : Sunny mornings, thundery afternoons
One year ago today we set off on our big adventure full of excitement along with a teeny bit of trepidation. It's hard to believe that it’s been one whole year! It seems hardly any time at all and yet so long ago at the same time. When we think back we realise just how much we have done.
21 Countries
28 Border Crossings
8 Times across the Equator
Travelling along the world’s longest railway line. Through the most populated country in the world, the highest country in the world, the youngest (geologically speaking) country in the world. To the tallest mountain, the driest desert and to the coldest and windiest place on the planet. From the world’s most southerly city to the world’s highest city. Through ancient kingdoms and tribal lands, over turquoise seas to beautiful beaches and tropical rainforest. To the roof of the world and back….and still going strong.
Still to come……Caribbean islands, the largest rainforest in the world, journey down the mighty Amazon, the world’s longest river and onwards to another continent and possibly witnessing one of the greatest migrations on the planet…………..
