Hello my beautiful people,

I have received many emails asking me for updates and I started to get overwhlemed with the number of emails and having trouble responding to everyone, so another blog it is so you can all be in the loop of my adventure. Thank you again for your interests in my blog and following it. Means a great big deal.

First week here was adjustement week, I am so used to coming home for holidays that this time I had to spend some time getting used to be being back. The second week, was job hunting week. I went to a few schools to drop off my resume to be a substitute teacher, we shall see where that leads. However, I did have a couple of interview in a school for Grade 5 French and History substitute teacher as the actual teacher is off sick. BUT another opportunity came during the same interview where they are looking for someone to go in classrooms and help the teacher work with children who have learning disabilities and/or behavioural issues. This position would only be 10 hours a week in my village or the next village which is a convenient location. However the schedule is all over the place, its not set in stone, every day, every week its different. However on the positive side it gives me experience in the swiss school system, a foot in the door, and experience in the area of my interests which are special needs and behavioural troubles. For a start, I think its okay and over time the schedule will become more defined and on the side Ill do substitute teaching too. All director wanted me so they are going to try and merge the grade 5 position with these 10 hours a week, that would be perfect, so fingers crossed!

While here, I have seen a couple of friends and went for a beautiful hike, which you will see the pictures and the comments :). Enjoy.

This coming week, I will apply to more jobs and wait to hear back from the interview, I also have another interview later in the month for a special education school, more likely for substitute, but hey, Id take it!

Until next time!
:)
