I had to go back to Adelaide so I went on the Great Ocean Road with Groovy Grapes. 3 days and 2 nights and the biggest group I have been with about 18 or 21 people. Mix of ages and personalities, some nicer than others. Good group, Christine was there again sot hat was nice.

Our first stop was Torquay, home of quicksilver and ripcurl. The shops were really expensive but then there were the outlets where its was 50% off so of course I got a couple of ripcurl shirts as they are special. Angela you would have loved it! We stopped at Bells beach where they hold the best surfing contest in the world and filmed "point break"-  I have not seen the movie. We did some jumping pictures, that was fun and found a dead penguin- that was sad.

Had a few stops on the great ocean, beautiful views. Wished we stopped more. I could do it again only it would take me 3 weeks to do it as I would stop everywhere. We stopped and saw some koalas and beautiful birds. Went to Apollo bay for lunch, as I did not see any sign the only I remembered is to write laura in the sand as you told me its a nice place lol- so there is a photo with your name in it.

After Apollo bay we went to the "Twelve Apostle" during the day and again at sunset. I took billions of pictures of course. So picturesque, how could I not? We stayed in a hostel on the beach, well accross from it, really nice. After supper we went back to the Apostels for some sunset...and more pictures!

The next day we went to our next stop: the Grampians. We got there, dropped the trailer off and wne to see the McKenzi falls. We had to do a downhil hike. We were going to do a hike the next day and one girl in mini skirt complained as she did not want to wear other shoes than flip flops as she did not want to get them dirty! Oh my. We went down many steps to see these falls. Really nice one. There was a rainbow within the fall and wanted to take a picture but it did not come out on the camera.

Fortunately, after a late night after supper and some drinking games (although my friends and I only had water while others spent money on their beer) we went to bed. Woke up arond 6am to find out it was pooring outside so guess what? No hike. Most of us were happy though. My knee was aching and the young girls were all hungover. We went to a few beautiful lookouts instead before our 8hr drive to Adelaide.

On the way we stopped to see white kangaroos, no not albinos, just white kangaroos in Bordertown. Also, lucky me I think I woke up with bed bugs bites!!! I think that is what they are, I am the only one who got them. I was sleeping on a single bed....aaah...as usual it doesnt mean it seems nice that it actually is.

Voila for my great ocean road!
I have SO many pictures to upload for each blog but dont know when I can do that!

So long...
