April and I took a trip to Port Melbourne as it was a beautiful but windy day. We had lunch at Rex's fish and chips, which would be the equivalent of Brett Farve's steak house. Took a dip in the ocean and checked things out. Port Melbourne is where the Spirit of Tasmania (ferry) departs and returns. It doesn't make much sense to take the ferry as flights and rental car is generally cheaper than the fare for the ferry. We then had a coffee at Starbucks and headed home. A generally relaxing day.

We then decided to all go out in Ringwood and that was quite the adventurous night. We went to Daisy's, which is a supper club, TAB (place where you can bet on nearly anything), nightclub, and drive through bottleshop all reside in one building. The night would have been just fine but we hanging out w/ the locals and as soon as we walked into the TAB I was attacked by 40 year old men! GOD!, either I have "I'm from America tattooed across my forehead" or "40 year old men, hit of me please". Playing buck hunter didn't seem to deter them away either but it made for a good stress release and made me feel like I was back at home. Shooting guns at bucks:-) Pretty funny to encounter an inaccurate game set in the Midwest all the way over in another country. We also played some pool and then I decided I was tired of games as I was sucking it up and was also tired of being harassed. We then went over to the casino area, which was just a whole bunch of pokies (slot machines). I think Shannon came up 40 dollars ahead so we then went through the bottleshop grabbed a few drinks "to go" and stumbled our way home through the park. Was really a good time as you'll see by the ridiculous pictures:-)
