Checked out some Viking ships today on the way to Sweden.
Some very impressive dingys for the kids to play in. One of 36 metres long had a crew of 120 odd 70 of which were rowing. Back in the day (about 11th centry) 5 had been sunk to them dodgy Swedes out of the Roskilde Harbour. There were replicas built of the 5 ships and one of them is being sailed to Dublin where the original one was built and sailed from in 1030AD (ish)
