Where I stayed
Wednesday, July 22 - Dawson City, Yukon, Canada - Day 4
I'm writing this blog at 1:30 in the afternoon because I don't foresee anything exciting happening for the rest of the day. I think we're all ready to move on.
The men prepared breakfast this morning. Everyone contributed something, but it was up to the men to do the cooking. They did a superb job with the eggs, blueberry pancakes, sausage, and bacon. What a feast! The women voted that the men should fix breakfast every Wednesday. Time will tell if democracy reigns in our Gulfstream community.
After cleanup, a Royal Canadian Mounted Policewoman came to talk to the group. She told us a bit about the RCMP history and about an officer's responsibilities. She had a great sense of humor and made what could have been a rather dry subject, interesting.
