Today we drove out to the Australian Zoo. Its located about 1 hour from Brisbane.
Crikey! It was amazing.

We were able to pet the koalas, feed the kangaroos and see all other animals including wombats and a porcupine looking creature called echidna....

and Bo....there are lots of lizards running around and then of course the nasty ones in holding areas...including Komodo Dragon... They also have lots of venemous snakes on display; thankfully they were also in glass enclosures.
