Woody wakes early and I wake with him.  But he really wants Noah to wake up so they can build something together.  So, I stall him and suggest he reads to Noah (although Noah is asleep).  Woody thinks this is a terrific idea and dashes off to grab some books.  Woody is excited to read the first book, and tells me he is reading to Noah because it is his special day.  I am not sure why it is Noah's special day but Woody says it in such a heartfelt way, I go with it.   Woody then opens a hardcover book which promptly lands on the sleeping Noah's face.  He does not wake, so Woody just cracks on and 'reads' Noah a full 3 stories (based on memory and pictures!)  Woody is very pleased with himself.  After this, Noah wakes, and the 2 of them get up and build stuff.

I am not far behind them, sipping my cups of virtue.

I sort brekkie and Woody and I watch the rest of yesterday's movie.  We rustle up all the bits we have to take to preschool and we are on our way, happy.

Woody is happy to be at preschool and excited because he has halloumi cheese in his lunchbox!  He gets a lovely welcome from the class. They are talking about how many children should be in the class today, how many there are here, and the children work out how many children left to come and who they are.  It is very lovely and we can't believe how quickly the kids get the maths.

Noah and I head off, and really, really, want to go for coffee.  But that is not the agenda.  We pop to the supermarket to buy some virtuous food and then we look for some dvd's for our niece and then get sidetracked and buy some fabulous cake tines for $5 each.  Will be baking on Friday so photos to follow!

We head home, and no more stalling it is time to work.

I go through my study stuff, do lots of readings and listen to my lecture and enjoy every moment of it.

Noah works on some prints and has a dash to the library for some reference books.

We rustle up some lunch when Noah gets back, and then Noah continues to work and I continue my study stuff.  It's very exciting!  This is pretty much how it continues until it is time to collect Woody.

We head into the classroom and Woody does not notice come in.  One of the little girls has brought in her pet frogs and all the children are watching them intently.

We take Woody home and he is exhausted. There are tears over a broken piece of cling film, that is how tired he is!

At home Woody and I play and Noah works.  I make a yummo dinner of thai tofu and noodles which is delicious but Woody does give me a bit of grief about eating.  But the thai noodles win out in the end.  I cannot convince Woody on the Tofu and he asked if he could just have sausages in it next time.  Fair enough, he gave it a shot!

After dinner Woody is shattered.  He has a bath, I tidy up and pack his bag for tomorrow, 3 books and Woody is out like a light.

I finish off some study, blog, send some emails and noah works.  We both snack, that's what we do.

Good night lovely people.  x
