Today is the start of a new shredding regime. Mum and I are up at 7.30am to do our 30-day shred.  Elwood is up at 7.30am so he can criticise our star jumps whilst he eats his breakfast.  Noah is up at 7.30am too, to stop Elwood from getting on my and mum's back when we are doing push ups.   30 day shred after a few days break is hard going – but we feel like giant winners for doing it.  It’s a great start to the day.

Post shred Mum has brekkie, Noah and Woody play Lego, and I get ready.

Woody and I head out the door almost on time and I even manage to inhale breakfast (although admittedly from my lap whilst driving....).  Just when I am feeling like a super mum Woody says, 'We are not the dream team’.  I thought I misheard him.  I ask him to repeat himself but I have not misheard him.  Hmmm.  I ask him to explain himself, and it turns out he is just pointing out Noah is not with us and we are not The Dream Team without Noah.  Loveliness.

We head to sing and move.  We are slightly late but we make up for it with a very enthusiastic ‘Row, row, row your boat’.  We have a great time and Woody joins in enthusiastically even though his little mate is not there.

In break time Woody and another little friend ‘play’ in the play room.  They are a bit boisterous so we play cafe and I keep them out of mischief by continually asking them to make stuff.   Excellent.

We then have our book group and all the kids love it.  The book is about a possum that gets up to mischief in a house and the teacher has a possum puppet and all the kids really engage with the story.  The story is read a couple of times and the children have to answer questions and do activities.    It really is a terrific way to spend the morning.

Back at home Woody needs some sleep.  But he is intending to fight it.  He has a bit of a play, has some lunch, watches some TV and then he goes to bed for rest time.  Apparently it is a Leonie Day today, so he only wants to read books given to him by my friend Leonie.  Very sweet.

Everything is going fine and then he gets something in his eye and it is obviously hurting him as he is screeching the place down.  We have no idea what has gone in his eye or how it got in but he is freaking out.  He cries and cries and whatever was in his eye gets flushed away with the tears. Phew.

And that’s my and the Mothership’s cue to get make our getaway.  We head to the shops.  Firstly for lunch and coffee, secondly for a browse in target, and finally for more food shopping.

We have a great lunch, sushi for me and curried egg for the Mothership.  Lovely lattes and we are happy folk.  We pop into the Reject shop and we buy a few bits for our pirate themed ‘ham night’ including an awesome costume for Woody.  In Target the Mothership buys her own shredding DVD for when she heads off into the sunset, a DVD for ‘Ham Night’ and some PJ’s.

We then buy a stack more groceries and Mum buys a magazine which comes with a free DVD-  ‘Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead’.  Cheerful.

We give Noah a quick call and Woody is still asleep.  So we sneak off for another latte and a flick through some mags.  Lovely.

We head home at the fellas are at the Lego.  Noah gets back to work, the Mothership sews and Woody watches a little TV and then plays.

I cook Woody some dinner and then we practice some ‘reading’ and Woody is fabulous.  Woody has a bath and goes to bed, and then runs rings around us for the better part of 1.5 hours.  Although he manages to be pretty charming and lovely at the same time – so that’s how he gets away with it.

I make gigantic salads for Mum, Noah and I and we sit down to watch the season finale of Biggest Loser.  We love it.  Right, now that is over I should get an hour a day of my life back!

Noah works, Mum finishes off the hand sewing  on Skye’s dress for ‘Ham Night’ and I blog. I am super surprised to learn a few things.  I knew that our blog was one of the featured sites on travelpod.  But, when I take a look this evening there it is on Travelpod’s home page.  Holy schmolley!  I then look at the numbers visiting our blog and there has been 450 in 2 days.  Amazing.  We normally 40-50 a day, so this is off the scale!

So, thank you to all the readers of our blog, new and old.  Our travels may be over but we are nowhere near the end of our journey!

Goodnight lovely people.xxx
