The Mothership gets up with Woody. Very good.

Mum and I take Woody to preschool and Woody is a delight on the way to school.  He chats about what Noah has been working on and what a great job Noah has been doing with work.  It is true, but I do not know how Woody knows this, but he says it with conviction.  Although he does express concern that Noah might break his computer from how hard he has been working.  Out of the mouths of babes..

When we get to preschool Woody is delighted to be there.  All the kids are playing in the garden when we arrive and it is just lovely.

Then I drop Mum off at Broadwater Park so she can have a wander and a relax and I head home via the coffee shop.

I do the usual, try and sort out a problem with Woody's immunisations.  I also sort out our UK tax returns and email some folk about my article.  This feels pretty productive.

The mothership returns and the husband emerges from the slumber of champions and we try and sort our Mum’s sewing machine which has been in storage for 15 years.  As Mum picks it up, bits fall out the bottom.  Not a great sign.  Mum attempts to sew with it and it is not working.  So we find a sewing machine repair shop and decide to leave it to the experts.   She will find out tomorrow just how expensive the repair job is going to be.  We have some plans for Mum and the sewing machine so it is important we get it repaired...

We decide to head out to the beach for a late lunch.  We go to Kurrawa Surf club and have a fabulous lunch, suck in the view, and I have some weird warmed cheesecake / crumble based dessert.  We then head to preschool to pick up Woody.

In the space of the few minutes at preschool I manage to volunteer Mum to cooking ANZAC  biscuits for the class and to coerce the preschool teacher to come to Zumba on Monday night.  Not a bad effort.

Back at home, we rustle up some dinner and some friends come over.  The kids play and we chat and Noah help design a charity t-shirt.  Very good.

Woody goes to sleep in a heartbeat and Mum, Noah and I sit around and chat.  Noah works, I blog and the Dizza goes to sleep.

A day of some achievements.  Good.  We need another one of those days tomorrow please.

Goodnight folks.  xxx
