We wake up and we are craving the beach.  We do a little bit of drawing at home and write a shopping list.  We throw things in a bag and we are head to the waterfront park at Labrador.  We grab some coffees and Woody runs around like crazy on the playground.  There were a few tricky characters on the playground so Noah and I kept a close eye on things, throwing stern stares and reprimanding other people's children, as well as our own, as required.  We are those kinds of parents.
Next stop, Dan and Kelli's folks so we can say our goodbyes to Dan, Kelli and Elijah.  After some fun and games getting into the gated community we find Dan and Kels in the pool.  Needless to say, Woody does not have to be asked twice to join them.  Woody has an absolute ball in the water with Noah and I sit on the edge sunny myself.

We pop back to Kels' folks to say our goodbyes and Woody makes full use of the bathroom facilities.  We say our farwells, get the big fella back in the car and head to Harbour town to check out the shops.  We have a fantastic wander around int he sunshine and it is just glorious.  Woody has lunch in the trolley and we browse.

I develop a crazy bad does of hayfever which means makes me look and feel horrendous.  We call in at the pharmacy to nip it in the bud pretty quick, so I ask at the counter for hayfever tablets.  The lady replies to me by saying enthusiastically, ' I thought so, your nose is really red!'.  I am speechless.  Interesting manner for someone who probably sees sick people all day.  This makes me a little grumpy, but I have the magic hayfever pill so I am expecting to feel normal again real soon.

There is a surf shop with a half price sale so Noah heads off in search of the smart short- something he is not overly familiar with.  he buys some pinstriped shorts - quite short shorts for Noah, This takes us both by surprise.

We buys some more feed and then we head home and Woody dozes off en route.  He falls into a deep, deep sleep and for the first time in probably years, he does not even wake  when he move him to his bed.

Noah and I try to get on with some business planning, and Noah tries on his short shorts.  Noah accidentally dozes off when he lies down for a stretch.  He's tired.

When Woody and Noah wake up we have a bit of a play and then we head to the beach.  Getting out the door is not quite as simple as we would have liked as Woody decides to pack a suitcase.  yep.  Noah and I decide it is easier if we just let him get on with it, so we take a suitcase of spare clothes and shoes to the beach. handy. Woody changes outfits in the carpark. It is good to have options.

On the beach, we set ourselves up around a big hole and Woody has a ball jumping in and out and around the hole.   We all laugh our heads off.  Woody then uses the hole as a skateboard ramp and attempts to skate using one of my birkenstocks. he thinks this is ingenious and and so do we.

As it gets dark, and way past Woody's bedtime we decide to head home.  Woody gets a quick shower whilst  I rustle up a quick meal which Woody inhales.

Noah and I again intend to get lots of work done, but in actual fact we watch some TV and skype Josh and Laoidhe.

With not enough done today, we head to bed, full of optimism that tomorrow we will achieve great things.

Much Love, bx
