We wake bright and early in Tarampa.  Justin is super happy, loud and excited in the morning which the kids just love.  Generally, adults do not like this as much...
Justin cooks a stonkingly great Eggs Benedict for breakfast and fixes some bits on our car whilst we faff around packing up our stuff.  We hit the road just after 9 and we are off to see Leonie, Mark and the boys on the Northside. I promise to bring morning tea, and have an epic fail on this, so Leonie rustles up the best guacamole ever and mangoes and blueberries for morning tea.  This is the life.  The kids play out the front and we natter about nonsense, as usual.  Very good.
We make plans to see each other some more before their family heads south, say our goodbyes (Elwood gives Leonie and Alex the biggest hugs ever), I score some Tupperware and some magazines, and then Elwood falls down the stairs, gets embarrassed and runs off.
We head back home, and out of nowhere, decide to do the last bit of sorting  in the office and go through the paperwork.  This burst of productivity takes us both by surprise.
We then head down to the Surf Club, where they do a members draw on the last Wednesday of the month for $500.  I convince myself I am going to win this, and you have to be present to win, so we go down to collect a prize.  Unfortunately someone called Yvonne (otherwise known as birthday nemesis) who allegedly has a birthday in December, and is at the Surf Club wins my $500.  A gin and tonic softens the blow a little.
By this time it is 6.30pm and we head down to the beach for a run around.  We play the family favourite game of pile on before heading back home for a quick dinner and bed for Woody.
I update the blog, inhale a bag of twisties, watch some Kath and Kim, and generally battle fatigue to stay motivated.
Fingers crossed.  Good night. x
