After a busy morning looking around the frediksburg castle and searching for Hansen's in a Danish cemetery I took a train up to Kronborg. The train ride was lovely as you drove next to the sea towards the end of the journey. Up in the city there's the Kronborg castle which was the inspiration for the play Hamlet. The great thing about the castle is that its located right on the tip of the harbor. From the grounds you had a great view of the North sea and Sweden. It was absolutely breathtaking and I loved spending time up there eating a pastry and looking at the sea.

This afternoon I went back to Copenhagen and walked up to the end of the harbor there where the little mermaid sits. Its a small statue that is based on fairy tales by hans christian anderson. Tomorrow I'll look at another castle and search for christiana before leaving for Oslo.

Take care.
