Visit Klenske, Ink.
Soon Kara will be out of class and it will be spring break (our last one as students). The plan is to go to Europe for a bit more than a week, splitting our time between London and Paris. Not exactly a warm destination, but since we have friends there now (Jamie in London and Chris and Tina in Paris) we figured what better time to go. Here's a rough plan of where we are going:
Friday March 11th: Fly out of Dubuque, take a pit stop in Chicago and then head to London, getting there by 10:30.
From Friday to Tuesday evening we will be in London.
On Tuesday night we'll catch the Eurostar, zip under the channel, and arrive in Paris that night.
Tuesday to Sunday we'll be drinking wine in the City of Lights.
Sunday morning we catch a train from Paris to Brussels, Belgium. Hopefully we'll have time for a quick morning Beligum Beer and Chocolat before catching our plane back to Chicago and then on to Dubuque.
Notice that all ground transportation is via trains and subway. We don't believe in driving cars in Europe, it's against our religion.
Bon Voyage!
