We got up at 7am on Tuesday, August 16th in Sydney.
We caught our plane at 10:50 am, Tuesday, August 16th in Sydney.
We spent 13 hours in the air, flying from daylight into darkness and back into daylight. The movies were good. The booze was all you could drink, and good. The flight was long. We ate lunch at the beginning and breakfast at supper time. But that makes sense because it wasn't supper time. It was breakfast time.
We landed in Los Angeles at 7am on Tuesday, August 16th. The exact same time in history that we got up.
We left Los Angeles at noon on Tuesday, August 16th. I saw Professor Tomkovitz, my first year Criminal Law Professor there.
We arrived in Chicago at 6:30pm on Tuesday, August 16th. We ate dinner. It was ok.
We had a half hour delay in Chicago.
We left Chicago at 9:30pm on Tuesday, August 16th.
We arrived in Dubuque at 10pm on Tuesday, August 16th. We were greeted by Nick's parents and Kara's aunt. We went home and talked with family. We then realized that it was no longer Tuesday, August 16th anymore. We thought, "we've been traveling for over 30 hours". We then felt tired and so went to bed...
