I arrived on the ferry two hours after leaving Tioman. The minute I got off I got 10 different taxi offers which I turned down stupidly.. I ended up carrying like 80 pounds of luggage 2 km into town to the bus stop. Got there and the guy was nice enough to let me leave my bags in his office. I went to an atm, got out some money, then went to a local restaurant for dinner where I was complimented on my Malay speaking skills. I waited in the bus terminal for 4 hours reading and then got on and tried to sleep all the way to Kuala Lumpur.
