Today we got up and drove to Adare to sample a full Irish breakfast - Eggs, Rashers, Sausage, Black Pudding, White Pudding, Grilled Tomato, scones and jam, and tea. You need a nap after all that! So, we all tried a bite of everything. White pudding not so bad, black pudding not so much.
After breakfast we took a tour of the Adare castle which was pretty cool. Then we walked through the shops in Adare, and headed home.
The afternoon was spent washing clothes and gathering things together before we had dinner. More soup - we are trying it everywhere, and haven't had a bad one yet. Then we got to go to the church that was the oldest Palatine Methodist Church in Ireland and the home church for Barbara Heck who introduced Methodism in New York. John Wesley dedicated the building, and I got a picture of Pat blowing the horn that John Wesley blew to call in the congregation. Unfortunately, I took it on Pat's camera, so it will have to wait to be loaded here.
Back to the cottage to finish packing and to bed. We have to leave the cottage tomorrow at 7:30. Very sad.
