Thanks to Arun Balamatti and his friend in Switzerland for organizing this trip. I met Arun in Schiphol (the Netherlands) on 17th November as he arrived from India and we traveled to Basel and later to Baden-Wurenlingen. There lives Kannan Ramachandran, with wife Lavanya and son Ritish. Kannan and Arun studied at the University of Flensburg, Germany many years back. Kannan is working as a scientist at PSI, Wurenlingen.
We visited Zurich city on 18th November. This beautiful 'Zu Reich' (too rich) city is financial/banking capital of Switzerland. It is true io its name as it is super expensive...Some times there is no fun in buying very expensive things in the world. It´s enough if we see them in person. Good example: Swiss-made watches ;-).
We visited Mount Rigi on 19th November. This amazing mountain stands tall very elegently and shows us entire mountain range and valleys in a specatacular way. We took mountrain train to the hill-top and cable-car to Lucarne lake and big boat to Lucarne city. This was an incredible experience for me!! A must visit place.
