A 5hr trip combining of bus and ferry to Ilha Grande (all along hoping the rain would ease up!). The sea ride was rough but once we land in Ilha Grande, we were rewarded with no rain (still cloudy). We took the opportunity to explore the island's lustful forest and ruins.
Sitting on the balcony overlooking the jetty was a nice way to relax (with a nice cold beer of course!). The local cuisine was delicious - perhaps even more so with Andreas' fantastic company!
Next's day weather is blue sky and sunshine! Time for sailing and snorkelling! To stay afloat, not only was I strapped in a life jacket but also the floating snake foam and flippers! At the very least, the gears was keeping me warm from the cold water.
Onboard, nothing beat home-made caipirinhas! Was such a fun day and topping it off, another delicious dinner and caipirinhas at our favourite bar.
I'm biase but this is definitely one of my favourite place.
