I am here for the Tapati Festival on Easter Island: its a two week annual competition that pits the "White" clan versus the "Red" clan on the island.  The competition consists of many smaller events - like stone carving, boat racing, dance competition etc - in which each clan can accumulate points.  At the end of the event, the clan with the most points is declared the winner.

Each clan is represented by a single person, usually a young woman. This year, the two woman are Valerie and Abigail, for the white and red clans respectively.
