christmas day was spent on the beach with a full on barbie with pranws and the whole aussie style.. the photos are great and i will attach them when i can..
the evening was followed by a full on christmas dinner for 21 ! it was really terrific.. really good day.. the aussies dont have no how to enjoy the beach...the children started misbehaving and managed to get into my apartment.. they were thrown out very quickly ....!
boxing day was the start of the hobart race.. for those of you that dont know many of the big yachts got hammered and there were lots of retirements ....
today we have sailed to a fantastic place called pittwater which is trully gorgoues and tomorrow we race for real.. its a littel nerve racking and my job is to fly the spinnakerit doesnt get twisted or broach ( when we get very very wet !) .. its very hard...
today the sun has been shining all day and the sea was blue and calm . a pod of dolhins kept us company for alot of the way.. how cool was that and i got to see a real flying fish ...
well thats it time for a team beer.. god its never ending.\
looking forward to new year when the kiwis are coming over for the celebrations.. much excitement all round...

Like the floppy hat with pink rose on front, very apt my little rosebud. Glad you're still having such a great time & long may it last. While you were having a barbie I was cooking Christmas Dinner for my sister & her family. Oh what a treat, still they brought lots of wine.Off for a quick turn round Plymouth sound now & dream off Cawsand. Give those children a good slap from me & have a good news year eve. Cheers mate!! Glad you are still enjoying yourself, we are sat in the kitchen of our villa in Florida having finally got internet access - very slow dial up!!! Christmas was great in Paignton, no rain just the usual dark gloomy weather that the UK has to offer, but spent with Mum & Dad who spoilt me rotten andfed me to bursting - but hey thats Christmas. To keep the kids out of your room, don't steal the Playdoh, simple really. Or just hide it someone else's room! Enjoy and will try to call at some stage Sunday although we will be just getting up as you celebrate the New Year - 16 hours behind you. xxxxx
