We left Klagenfurt on foot in the hopes of getting to the "official" Jacobsweg. We started late, tried to go too far and basically ran out of gas long before the "planned" stop point. BUT we are on our way and had a perfect begining to improve from. We hiked 25.7 Km and managed an altitude gain and drop of 400 m. It was very hot but every where I looked it was beautiful and I found myself so very grateful to be as sore and tired as I was, exactally where I was, after a long shower and a sit with my legs up for a bit. I am certain that tommorrow will be a bit better and that is enough for me now.
