Where I stayed
Campsite outside Vienna
Leaving Prague - there was no rain - yippee!!
Then a short drive to the church of bones...basically a church decorated (as you would use tinsel for Xmas) but with bones!!?? Including a chandlier made of all the bones in the human body...weird folks these Czechs!!
Then on to Vienna...where we were put to camp in the naughty corner (last years group evidently caused a fair it of trouble!!)...whereupon it rained...1st night - thunder/lightning - great and we were kicked out of the bar. Us to bar lady: "Can we have another beer please?" Her: "No - you are too noisy" (It was 10.30pm!). So we retired to our naughty corner with copious amounts of alcohol (until the thunder and lightening and I went to bed and missed out on the naked run around the campsite by some of the boys!)
Into Vienna the next day where i can quite honestly say that I have never met more miserable people!! No-one smiled - they glared at us when we laughed...what?!
We had a nice day walking around but to be honest it was not as nice at Prague.
Then at about midnight it started hammering down with rain and the wind picked up and it never really stopped!! So we had to put all the tents down whilst it rained cats and dogs...fantastic!!
The rain is following us!! On to Budapest!
