. i think it would take 2 or 3 days. we just looked at guitars at the yamaha store and lots of awesome crap at the japanese version of dollarama.. oh yeah! ;) i really want to go back to the yamaha store soon to look at the guitars again. there's one i really liked and i'd like to spend more time there to see if there's something for me there. i know it's a hassle to bring her back if i do fall in love with one. but then again, what are you gonna do when you find your guitar.. besides, they seem to be cheaper over here so that's a pull factor! after that we went home. actually i ran but never mind. i haven't done much since but i guess that's what the weekend is for, right?
tomorrow we're gonna check out sentosa. i'm curious to see it. haven't managed to go to the botanic garden yet unfortunately. maybe tomorrow or monday. we'll see. i definitely want to go. i hear it's breathtaking. but enough for today,
today we had our first sight-seeing tour. after sleeping in until noon (i was so exhausted!) we went to marina bay and looked at marina bay sands.. or rather the mall.. they have a pool in the mall. but not just any pool, no! the pool is so big that you can rent little boats and gondoliere and cruise around the mall in a boat. man oh man, where do they come up with these silly things. :D it's really nice at the bay though and the architecture is absolutely wonderful. the boat, the nymphaea (seerose), the bridge... all spectacular! there's a museum inside the nymphaea. i would love to go back and see the exhibition. it's a harry potter exhibition at the moment.. :D hehe.. we walked all the way to the other side and then went to doby ghaut (--> hindi for "washing place") where there is a gigantic mall called plaza singapura. forget the 7 story mustafa. this place has like a million floors. it takes forever to get from the bottom floor to the top floor. unbelievable. unfortunately we didn't have much time to really browse around
