When we got to the D.C. airport we parted ways from our group for a bit while the 4 of us (Brenna, Carrie, Lauren, and I) made our way through customs and on to baggage claim. After gathering our several bags and wandering into the main airport we were like little kids in a candy store looking all around at the first starbucks we had seen in 4 months and the Christmas decorations. We must have looked pretty funny because two guys were laughing at us as we stumbled around to find the elevator to go to check in. Once we got checked in we headed over to our groups gate to say our final goodbyes. Surprisingly there weren't any tears, I almost lost it when I said goodbye to Taylor but I held it together. After goodbyes the 4 of us girls went to our gate and every smell that we encountered on the way we wanted to eat! We were so happy too because there was a chipotle right in  front of our gate! Only Lauren was going to get Chipotle but then when she came back and told us a bean and cheese burrito was only $1.70 Brenna, Carrie and I went and got a burrito and chips and split it. It was DELICIOUS!!! no actually better than delicious! lol We then boarded the plane for our last flight which went really quickly actually because they had tv we could watch. When we got out of the security area Carrie's mom and boyfriend were waiting for us :) We collected our baggage and met Carrie's dad then hopped into the car and took the scenic route to Carrie's house so we could see some of Boston on the way.

Carrie's house is so cool! It was built in 1832 I believe ... that is before Lincoln was president! And it was one of the homes in the underground railroad! A lot of Boston has old homes and it is so cute! Since we got here we have rented a movie and watched it, had pizza (YUM), i fell asleep for an hour while they decorated the tree, had home made chocolate cake with peppermint ice cream, and just hung out. We found out a few hours ago that we made it out of D.C. only an hour or two before they shut it down for today and tomorrow!! ah! Thank you Jesus. Tomorrow we leave for New York at 7 am. :) Snow storm comes in tomorrow night though so pray it isn't too bad so we can drive back Sunday afternoon. Carrie's dad is driving us so we will be in good hands :) Well jet lag is setting in a little bit, i think this time has been easier and i don't feel so gross or tired which is nice. It is soooo good to be back in the states! :)
