So the sad part of today was that we didn't get to go to Drakensburg and hike to the bushman cave paintings because of the weather :( The good news was that this was our first day we have really relaxed that much. Brenna and I went to the mall together today and it was really nice to hang out :) We got some post cards and birthday cards for upcoming birthdays then went and found some garlic bread and then got a doughnut and wrote postcards. It is starting to feel like the holidays to me, I mean I know I play Christmas music way early so maybe it is that, but halloween stuff is in the stores (even here! which is really odd) and maybe the weather makes it seem like that too.

Tonight was an amazing night though because ... we cooked dinner! well some of us did, we had burritos tonight! and OMGSH I have never been so happy to see a tortilla with ground beef, rice, beans, salsa, tomatoes, and quacamole! We cooked for the staff that normally cooks for us too. I'm not sure what they thought of it but it was incredibly delicious to have food from home! And then later we got to make smores!! what a night! oh and we watched braveheart in the South Africa campus cougar's den... yeah what a good night :)
