Hi Everyone,

We finished up in Italy - went to Florence, went to Venice, saw some other cool stuff, Mum came and stayed which was lovely. The kids loved Italy, we all learnt some Italian and so on.

Now we're back in the UK again, and if you haven't already heard, we bought a boat! Nothing has quite gone to plan, and it turns out that we need to do a lot of work to the boat, that we were'nt realy planning on. Happens that the damned thing is leaky, so we've got to replace the deck.

Its out of the water in a shed now, and we've had to move house here. The good news is that we've met a lovely home school group here and that we're coming back to Australia for the summer

! Hoping I don't melt because its been a while since we've proper hot.

Then we're going to come back to the UK, finish up the boat and take her to the med. If all goes well, we may even bring her back to Australia - but thats if things go exceptionally well in the med.

We also had Pauls Nan, Betty, come and stay for a few weeks here in the UK. We checked out best of England with her and had a nice time.

Anyway, I'm keeping things brief so that I might be tempted into writing more often.

Great to hear from you all. Gosh I can only think about what you are experiencing...so lucky. Enjoy it all. Glad you mum came over to see and experience things with your family. Please call when you back in OZ. Enjoy (like that's hard!!) Suzanne (getting greener by the minute!)

Hey Nic, so good to read your blog ... yes definitely write it more often. Glad you have a plan with the boat, it's hard when things don't go quite to plan. The Home Ed group you've met sound lovely, it's great for you and the kids to have some social life.
