Pretty delicate when I woke up - had signed up for a walking tour at 10am to motivate me post-pub crawl. Turned out Abbie from Bristol had done the same thing. Our tour guide was a really nice guy called Brandon - first stop was China Town. Learnt some trivia along the way, fortune cookies were invented here (we got a free one) and we stopped to listen to an old Chinese guy play us some songs. I have no idea what his instrument was called but he was very sweet. The whole area looked really pretty with its hanging lanterns and pastel colours.

Next we walked to Little Italy - Francis Ford Coppola has a building here where his Production Company American Zoetrope are based and he apparently wrote the script for The Godfather. There's a cafe there which I'd like to try and get back to. Such a fan of his films. We also passed an original Banksy which I was also quite excited about! We carried on to a huge building called Coit Tower. It's all uphill which was killer but worth it for the views.

Tour ended in Fisherman's Wharf, me and Abbie had pretty much spent the whole walk pining for a chowder bread bowl. So we went to get one and some crab. The seafood is all fresh and so good. Sat in the sun with Alcatraz behind us and seagulls vying for any leftovers.

We walked back to a little park we'd seen earlier for a little nap in the sun. Well actually under a tree in the shade as it was so hot. Managed to burn my arms and neck - so annoying as I've pretty much worn block every day until now.. An hour later we headed to find bikes to cycle over the Golden Gate Bridge. It took about an hour and 30 total and you catch the ferry back. Really cool way to experience going over the bridge apart from I was wearing a dress - I Marilyn Monroed the whole way across. Thankful that I was wearing thick leggings..

It was Abbie's last day so we had a cheeky bloody mary on the boat. Dropped off the bikes and headed back to the hostel. Quick shower and change and we went to hunt down a Japanese restaurant. Found a really nice one a block away and ordered some bentos. So good, especially the sushi. Wandered down to a bar called The Owl Tree and spent the night talking away. Later joined by a Commanding Officer called Dan and the bouncer Antony and spent a long time debating the whole Prince Harry naked pictures thing. It's not the first time I've been asked about that either, the yanks love the royals!
