Yaaayyy for lie ins! Most people were throwing themselves off cliffs and jumping out of planes (not for me) so took the opportunity to recoup a bit. After breakfast met Lauren & Jamie (a British couple) to go on the Gondola. It's a pretty steep cable car and runs up to the top of a mountain. The views of the town were stunning. Up there is a luge which was a lot of fun. You had to take the ski lift up to come all the way down again,

Headed back down to town and met Shaun who had just done two canyon swings. Watched his videos - it makes me feel nervous just watching! We all walked down to the lake and had a coffee before walking around to the gardens. Me, Jamie and Shaun went ice skating which was much fun. Didn't fall even once!

Headed back into town for a legendary ferg burger - they're reputation is so good that there's always a queue outside. I went for a Sweet Bambi (wild fiorden deer, Thai plum chutney, alioli, lettuce and tomato). It was as big as my face!! Just managed to finish it. Took ourselves over to Buffalo Bar for a game of pool, so chuffed that we beat the boys in the first game even if they did win the next two..

Headed back to the hotel to get ready for the night ahead - Buffalo Bar's 'Mother of all Pub Crawls'. By this point my voice had pretty much disappeared so I took a note book and pen out with me - turned out to be very amusing, I had whole conversations in there with people! The highlight of the night was the ice bar - you get given a warm coat and everything is carved out of ice from tables to chairs - a chandelier, fireplace and even an air hockey table! Have lots of pictures on my camera which I'll try and add in the next few days.

I'm in love with Queenstown, has got such a nice feel to it. Definitely coming back one day..
