My sleep was a bit broken, I swear there was something swimming around the boat! Otherwise found sleeping on a boat fine, kind of like you're being rocked to sleep.

We were all up at 7am for breakfast before heading on deck to set sail for Tongue Bay. At this point the weather was pretty bleak, we played eye spy to try and get through it! Tanè pointed out a huge turtle in the sea. We climbed into The Little British Defender to get to the island and then trekked up to the top through the rainforest. I would love to see this place in the sun - its still so beautiful but on a clear day it must look amazing. We walked down the other side to get to Whitehaven Beach - the sand is some of the purest in the world (they made the Hubble telescope from it). We spent an hour wandering around the island, thankfully the rain had stopped.

Back to the boat and changed out of our wet clothes before lunch (sausages and salads). Then back to the top deck to sail and look for whales! We spent ages looking and finally had to turn round, at which point Miriam spotted one. The crew worked at speed to try and turn us round but we lost it.. We headed to our next destination Blue Pearl Bay and before long someone shouted 'whaaaalllleeeeee!' Two humpbacks! And then a few minutes later two more! No breaches but we saw their tails diving down. Ahhhyeeeehhhhhh.

Next up was snorkelling - while we were changing I was reconsidering as it was so cold and there were also some jellyfish! Turned out they weren't dangerous.. We boarded the Little British Defender at which point the sun came out and also a whole rainbow - so pretty. The sea wasn't so bad once you were in but visibility wasn't great - of course this was the first time I'd sorted an underwater camera.. FAIL. Saw some nice fish and corals before heading back to the boat. I so should have taken a camera on my GBR dive, ah well..

Back on the boat it felt so good to get warm. We're only allowed a 1 minute shower (to conserve water) but I cherished every second. We took the boat to a place called Shorehaven to dock for the night. Dinner was spaghetti and the rest of the night we played card games and then guess the name (with it stuck on your forehead). I was Shakira, King Kong & Stewie Griffin. I think Tanè was a little bit stoned as he kept forgetting what he'd asked. Much fun..
