Since we last wrote in Rome, we've been to Sorrento in Italy, and then we made our way to Greece. We were in Corfu, and right now we are in Santorini.

On our last day in Rome, we decided to climb the dome in St.Peter's Basilica, and we ended up seeing the Pope do his weekly message from his window cause it was a Sunday. We didn't really plan on seeing him or anything, so it was pretty cool that i happened by chance.

From Rome we made our way to Sorrento, which is on the beginning of the famed Amalfi Coast in Italy. We stayed in a B&B that ended up being the most amazing place ever. It's called Mami Camilla, and its both a B&B and a cooking school for people that want to learn how to cook Italian food. The first day we were there it poured, so we didn't do much. We decided to have the dinner that they have every night. It's pretty expensive, 18euros, but you get soo much and the quality is awesome. We had a 3 course meal plus dessert. After living on sandwiches, having a gourmet dinner was amazing. We met some nice people and had a generally good time. They also offered a day trip boating and swimming around the island of Capri. We decided to do it the next day cause the weather was supposed to be nice. We ended up having the best day of our trip so far. We met some really nice people on the boat, and we just had an awesome time swimming in underwater caves and around the island. We also got to go on the island itself. Capri is really beautiful and we took a chairlift up to the very top for spectacular views. We also got to swim in the famous Blue Grotto, which isn't technically allowed. It was very bad ass. hahaha. Ricardo also went cliff jumping. It was seriously a perfect day, lounging on a boat in the sun with nothing to worry about except who is getting the next beer from the cooler. So much fun.

From Sorrento we took an overnight ferry to Corfu. We made friends on the ferry with some people, so we ended up staying up for most of the night, drinking and talking. We got a little bit of sleep, but sleeping on a floor isn't the most comfortable thing.

Our hostel in Corfu was located 5 min from the beach, so we basically spent the whole time laying on the beach and swimming. We also rented a quad bike for a day and got to see some more of the island that way. It was really relaxing to be in Corfu, mainly because you don't feel like you're having to rush to see all these things. We're not complaining, but sightseeing can take a lot out of you sometimes, and it was nice to just sleep in, and then head to the beach. The hostel we stayed at was awesome too. We got free breakfast, and free dinner.

From Corfu we had a hellish journey to get to Santorini. We were in transit for a little over 24 hours. We first had to take an overnight bus from Corfu to Athens. We arrived in Athens at some bus stop at 5 in the morning. It was pretty sketchy, but we made our way to Piraeus, the port. From there we took a ferry to Santorini at 7:30am and we got here at 3:30pm. Lets just say we felt bad for the guy who picked us up at the port to drive us to our hotel cause we didn't smell the best. =P

Yesterday was our first full day here, and we rented quad bikes for the 3 days that we're here cause its the best way to get around the island. We went snorkeling and checked out Oia, the town were staying in. Oia is gorgeous, full of the pure white buildings with blue roofs that everyone associates with Greece. We had a good Greek dinner and then called it a night.

Today we took our quad bike and explored the island a bit more. The sunsets in Oia are world famous so we're going to watch it tonight.

After Santorini we are heading to Naxos, another island with good beaches, and then from there we are heading to Athens for a couple days.
