We took off out of the ISA and headed for the great Northern Territory. On the way there we went through Camooweal and came across a statue that looks like a kangaroo but it seems to have a boomerang through its head or is it horns????? not sure but strange it was.

Yipppeeeee we are in the NT and so glad to finally get here and guess what the road is straight and lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggg and it rarely has a turn.to either side straight as really. Guess what you can travel 130klm yehaaaa but we get to putt along at 90klm yipee. So many cars, roadtrains and some vans do go by like a bullet lucky them they will be where they are going shortly, us we will still be putting along.....we however do get to enjoy the veiw of the red centre.

We got to our night stop over and many vans decided to stop there for the night. Long drives to get to the Alice. Flies flies and bloody more little black bloody buggers. Getting a bit colder.

Off we go again and we had to pull up at the Barkly Homestead to fuel up.

On the way you will come to Wycliffe wells, The captial of Alien encounters apparently, you are more likey to see one than not to see on.............I have 2 aliens myself that I get to see everyday......

We are travel close to a full day today, heading to the Devils Marbles to check out what they are all about. $7.70 for a family great price for a night......We arrive at the Marbles and they are more than what I had expected to see. Mother nature is rather amazing actually.( check out the pics)
We climbed a number of these large boulders and got to watch the sunset overlapping them.
Lots of caravanners head here. Getting colder

As we have been travelling we have seen some dingoes along the way.

Got to visit 1 of 4 Telegraph stations that still stand and a grave of 2 men that were killed by natives.

We have made it to The Alice.......
Today we booked into the Big 4 and this place is huge, great for the kids to, went up to the Anzac hill lookout and got to checkout what the Alice looks like from above and it is a little bigger than I expected. The usual takeaways are here and Gloria Jeans.

Today we celebrated Emilys 5th birthday and we headed to the Desert Park for a couple of hours.
we also checked out John Flynns gravestone.

So nice to have some reception again been unable to communicate with anyone since we left the ISA
