We drove down to New York for a short weekend trip last weekend. Jon`s car Eric isn`t really up to 7 hour road trips, but it actually survived the return journey. In New York itself we did a spot of shopping and went out for the birthday of one of Jon`s friends that we were staying with. The first night ended up in a karaoke bar (nothing to do with me, of course) and also involved going into a dodgy men`s bar where all the girls were serving in their underwear (Jon swears he didn`t notice when we walked in) and eventually climbing trees in the middle of the city!
The drive back was just in time as there was a massive snow storm across the North East and Eric just about made it (with a taped on windscreen wiper, clogged up windscreen washers and a very white and salty windscreen) and we also narrowly missed a deer that decided to run at us on the highway.














Anyway the snow storm came at perfect time because i set off for Mont Tremblant on Tuesday.
