Hello! This is really exciting because it's our first blog, and hopefully the first of many. Lots of you have said you want to be able to follow our progress, so this is for you. I hope you enjoy it and will keep in touch with us through it.

Our blog will start proper when we depart the UK for Moscow in 10 weeks time so this is really just a test run to check out Travelpod before we head out into the big blue yonder.

Here are a few photos, one of Phil working away in our study-come-travel centre (its looking uncharacteristically tidy), the trip researcher hard at work, and of our little home before we stripped it out and it became someone else's.
