Found a great new beach called Dreamland. It's about a 30 minute drive from Legian in the jeep (max speed 65km per hour with boards on!). It's quite a walk down to it but a spectacular setting nestled in a cove backed by dramatic cliffs. There are all the pre-requisites of the perfect beach: sparklingly clear turquoise water, white sand, a few beach bars, hot chicks and great waves for surfing. Paradise!






 


Some Balinese lingo we've learnt:

Makkan sini - eat here
Terima kasi - thank you
Dua birra - 2 beers
Ayam - chicken
Bagus - all encompassing word meaning: good, cool, brilliant, etc
Tidak - no
Apa kabar - how are you
Baik baik - very good
Jalan - road
Sampai basok - see you tomorrow
Sampai nanti - see you later
