So we're now about to board at Heathrow gate 1, which you would think would be the closest. Half an airport later, we're sat down and quite pleased with ourselves as unusually for us, nothing has gone wrong so far.

We'll basically just be updating this blog with the many, many things we'll be getting up to while we're away in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan; complete with some beautiful, beautiful photos. You lucky things you!

Unfortunately this particular entry won't include any photos, as let's face it Heathrow isn't exactly a major travel landmark.

Can't emphasise enough how excited we are to get out there, we promise we'll give you something interesting to read soon!

Onwards an upwards an' that.
