Well it has turned out to be a great summer. Towards the end it started to slow down when every one returned to college and I began to become lethargic and lazy but still it allowed me to almost completely focus and getting ready for France. I have it organized as following first, I will do a stop over in Iceland for four days. Second, off to Bordeaux for three months of intense language school. Third, parents come to visit and we go to Italy. Fourth, I start in January 2011 my first semester at the American University of Paris where I will be for the next 2+ years.

Im very happy to start to learn French. I've had an obsession with this language for as long as I can remember and my goal is to learn French better than Spanish, which hopefully won't be so difficult as I will be there much more time than Spain. I'm also glad that I had my stay at home this summer because it completely allowed me to get the things together that I need in France i.e Clothes, Books, ect. When I first left for Spain I had no Spanish books nor cooking books. As a result I believe that I didn't learn spanish as efficiently as I could've and without cooking books I was at a complete loss as to how feed myself resulting in a loss of 20+pounds my first few months.
