We decided that we couldnt be bothered back tracking to London then getting the train to Paris as the first tine we were in London getting th ebags up and down stairs in the escalator was a real pain in the arse. Instead we hired a cheap car in Oxford and drove out to Blenhein Palace where the british bulldog , Sir Winston Churchill , himself grew up.
We then decided that we would take the ferry over the channel from Poole because it was a fast cat that goes directly to St Malo. On the way I took Chia past Stonehenge which has changed a lot since I was there 15 years ago. They have changed things a lot since I was there last putting a fence around it and charging a tenner to get in suffice to say it was a case of doing the obligatory happy snap fron outside the mesh fence then moving on.
We got to Poole at about 6, had a fantastic fishmeal, Cod fritters, mackeral, sea bass & sole then lights out.
